Paul Mosca, 95, of Newton, World War II Veteran, Barber in Nonantum

Paul Mosca of Newton and Waltham died on Jan. 7 at the age of 95.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as an aircraft radio technician. For most of his life he was a barber in the Nonantum, according to an obituary on the Magni & Son Funeral Home website.

He was husband of his late wife of 65 years, Mary (Paradiso) Mosca; father of Angela Beckwith and her husband, Jerry; grandfather of Jeffrey Beckwith and his wife Kristen, Michael Beckwith, and Jason Beckwith and his fiancée Kristen McArthur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St. (Rt. 16) in Newton, on Friday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton at noon. Interment in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours on Thursday, Jan. 8 from 4-7 p.m.
