Philip D’Agostino Jr., 76, Newton Resident

Philip Anthony D’Agostino Jr. of Newton, formerly of Rochester, N.Y., died on Aug. 13 at the age of 76.

He was the father of Joy Yarborough and her husband Terry of Charleston, S.C.; grandfather of Nathan Yarborough; brother of Shirley Sarkis and Marie Barbado and husband Louis and brother-in-law Richard Brovitz and wife Alyse, all of Rochester, N.Y., according to an obituary on the Burke Family Funeral Homes website.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. at 48 Windsor Road in Waban. Informal visiting hours will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
