Newton Residents Attend Hoffman Breast Center Benefit

Mount Auburn Hospital held the Final and Most Fabulous Evening with Your Favorite Authors featuring renowned author Alice Hoffman to benefit the hospital’s Hoffman Breast Center on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. The event featured readings and anecdotes from popular best-selling authors Jodi Picoult, Gregory Maguire, Ann Hood, Ann Leary, Elinor Lipman, and Lee Woodruff. Joyce Kulhawik served as the evening’s emcee and Alice Hoffman, whose family the center is named in honor of, spoke about the impact of breast cancer on her life.
