Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist Stephen Kurkjian to Speak at Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary Event

Mount Auburn Hospital’s Auxiliary will feature acclaimed journalist Stephen Kurkjian at their Annual Meeting and Luncheon. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 11:30am at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, MA.

Stephen Kurkjian is a renowned journalist and three-time Pulitzer Prize winner who spent 38 years as a reporter and editor at the Boston Globe.  He is also the recipient of more than 25 other regional and national reporting awards, including the 2003 Lifetime Achievement Award from the New England Society of Professional Journalists. Kurkjian will speak about his career in general, including the Gardner heist, which he is currently writing a book on.  He will also have a Q&A with the audience.

The Annual Meeting and Luncheon is an initiative by the Auxiliary to host a social gathering for the community, and to also host a business meeting to plan for 2014 and elect officers, directors, and nominating committee.  The event is open to the public and the luncheon and speaking will begin at noon.

Advance ticket purchase and RSVP is required. Tickets are $38 and are a tax deductible donation to the Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary.
