UPDATED 2:56 p.m.: Newton Police: Alleged Victim of Reported Robbery Changed Story
Police are still investigating the alleged incident, which happened Thursday night on Jackson Street in Newton.
Updated 2:56 p.m. Newton Police say they are still investigating earlier reports of an armed robbery on Jackson Street.
Police say they responded to a call Thursday night of a man who said he was robbed at gunpoint while he was walking down Jackson Street, behind the Fortune Panda restaurant.
The alleged victim now has given police at least two different stories of what happened that night.
