Auburndale Woman Killed in North Attleboro Crash
The woman, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash.
Massachusetts State Police confirmed that a 72-year-old Auburndale woman was killed during a Saturday crash in North Attleboro that took the life of a second driver as well.
According to a press release, Patricia M. Devore, 72 of Auburndale was killed during a two-car crash on Route 95 north of Exit 5 on Saturday at about 8 p.m.
Police said Nicole L. Geddry, 36, of Norwood was traveling on the opposite side of the road as Devore when she crossed the center median for reasons currently still under investigation. After crossing the median, Geddry reportedly struck Devore's vehicle in the middle travel lane.
Devore was pronounced dead at the scene while Geddry was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries that she eventually succumbed to.
The accident remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
