Authorities Say Three Fires at Boston College are Suspicious

Campus police are investigating the fire over the weekend.

Over the weekend, Boston College had small fires on campus, and the BC Police Chief said they appear to be suspicious.

The three fires remain under investigation, said BC Police Chief John King. Two hit the north wing of Stokes Hall, causing the sprinkler system to go on and cause smoke and water damage to some classrooms and offices, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

Another fire burned in an office in Gasson Hall, but it was extinguished before causing damage, the report said.

King asked anyone with information to contact BC Police or the Newton Fire Department.
