Car Drives into Whole Foods in Newton

The driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.

A car drove into the corner of the Whole Foods Market on Walnut Street in the Four Corners in Newton.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was she was taken to hospital, said Newton Fire Lt. Eric Fricke. No shoppers or employees were injured in the accident.

The car struck the northeast corner of the store, near the loading docks, Fricke said.

Building inspectors were checking out the building for structural damage.
