Driver Charged After School Bus Crashes into Dedham Street Home

No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

A driver has been charged in connection with a school bus that crashed into a Dedham Street home Tuesday morning.

There were no children on the bus and the driver was the only occupant.

Authorities said the bus crashed after the driver tried to avoid hitting an oncoming car. The driver of the car, a 34-year-old from Brockton, was charged with driving without a license, WHDH/7News reported.

The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. No one was injured.

The crash happened near the Charles River Country Club.
