Easton Man Arrested for Drunk Driving, Pot Possession

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On July 1, a resident from Bowdoin Street said that overnight someone stole her green recycling bin from the side of her house. 

On July 1, at 9:51 p.m., police responded to 118 Needham St., Mick Morgans Restaurant, for a report of a drunk person trying to get into his vehicle and drive. When police arrived, the man was driving out of the lot and hit a parked vehicle in the process. The suspect pulled out onto Needham Street heading toward Winchester Street. Police pulled him over on Jacconnet Street. One witness, out walking a dog, said she saw a white man struggling to get his keys into his car and that he was unsteady, swayed, and dropped his pants to urinate. Raymond F. O'Connell, 43, 15 Cranberry Lane, Easton, was arrested for OUI and possession of marijuana. 

On July 1, at 1:12 p.m., police responded to Grove Street for a report of a domestic situation. A 43-year-old from Mattapan had a complaint against her for intimidation of a witness.
