Newton Firefighters 'Fight For Air' in Boston

A team of firefighters joined first-responders from all over Massachusetts at the American Lung Association's charity event last weekend.

Five Newton firefighters climbed more than 40 flights of stairs in full turnout gear last weekend in the name of charity.

Along with first responders from all over Massachusetts, Timothy Killilea, Joseph Deluca, Norman Griffiths, Michael White and Phil McCully climbed the stairs of the BNY Mellon Center on Washington Street in Boston on Saturday as part of the American Lung Association’s annual “Fight For Air” event.
