Newton Police Investigating Reported Rape at Andover-Newton Theological School
The incident reportedly happened on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
The Newton Police Department is currently investigating a reported rape that happened on the campus of the Andover-Newton Theological School.
According to a press release issued by the Newton Police Department this afternoon, the incident reportedly happened on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
The female victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, told police she was standing at the sink in a bathroom located in the basement of Stoddard Hall (230 Herrick Road) when she was grabbed by an unknown male, thrown to the ground and raped.

The only description the victim could give was that the suspect was a white male wearing a face mask.
At the time of the assault, there were approximately 250 non-students on campus for a convention, the press release said.

The victim came forward and told Andover-Newton administrators about the assault on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The school then notified Newton Police.
The victim has not reported the incident to the Newton Police and has not spoken with investigators, the press release said. The Newton Police Department is urging the victim to come forward and report the incident to the police.
