Newton Police Log: Man Faces OUI After Hitting Wall, Home Broken Into and More

Dec. 14
Police summonsed a 48-year-man from Newton to court on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
Two 16-year olds from Newton will be summonsed to Waltham Juvenile Court for larceny over $250 after they reportedly stole money.
Police arrested Jason Alexander More, 37, of 630 Dudley St. Apt. 302 in Dorchester on charges of assault and battery and larceny from a person after he allegedly stole a cell phone.
A man on River Street discovered someone had opened a work box attached to a truck and taken out the tools. He found that a Bosch circular saw and a Makita combo pack containing an impact driver, cordless drill and battery charger were missing.
Police arrested a man after he allegedly struck a small stone wall on Carl Street and left the area. John M. Bankert Jr., 20 of 2 Clayton St. in Medfield, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of property damage.

A Walnut Street resident discovered someone unlocked a kitchen window and took a Canon SX40HS camera and a charger.
