Newton Police Warn of New Scam

The latest scam involves a letter sent via fax.

Following a recent scam attempt, the Newton Police Department is reminding residents this week not to send personal information to unknown individuals.

According to a message sent from the Police Department last week, a scam letter asking to form a "business relationship" was recently sent via fax.

In the letter, the sender claims to have inherited $95 million and is looking for investment opportunities in the U.S.
