Newton Teen Charged With OUI After Passing Out Naked in Honda Lot

The following are excerpts from the Newton police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

On June 22, police resounded to Beacon Street for a report of larceny. Two tires were stolen from a Nissan Altima parked on Upland Road near the corner of Beacon Street. The suspects left behind the lug nuts and hubcaps. 

On June 22, police responded to the Star Market for past shoplifting. A woman was summonsed to Newton District Court for shoplifting by asportation. She was given a verbal trespass order to not return. The woman is 43 and from Newton. 

On June 22, police responded to a report of past assault and battery. Police are seeking a hearing regarding two incidents and applied for a hearing on two counts of A&B with dangerous weapon (beer bottle) and A&B with dangerous weapon (jumper cables). Person is a male, 49, from Newton.

On June 22, police responded to Richardson Road for a family disturbance. Mirelle R. Mazzola, 33, 113 Graymore Rd., Waltham, was arrested for domestic A&B.

On June 23, at 5:38 a.m., police responded to Honda Village for a report of a naked man slumped over a steering wheel int eh driveway of the dealership. There were streaks of vomit splattered on the rear driver's side window and driver's side door. The right front tire was blown out and reduced to the rim. Clothing was scattered throughout the front of the vehicle and covered in vomit as well. Police said the odor of alcohol was strong coming from his body. His eyes were glossy and bloodshot and he was slurring. Gary Thomas Devincentis, 19, 929 East St. Walpole, arrested and charged with OUI liquor.
