A Newton woman and a Boston man were arrested on Dec. 16 on serious gun charges, according to Watertown Police.

Daryle Smith, 44, of Boston and Elizabeth Casey Singleman, 30, of 302 Watertown St., Apt A, Newton, each face charges in connection with a dispute at a Watertown home, according to Watertown Police.

Smith faces the following charges: possession of a loaded firearm and possession of ammunition. Singleman faces charges for possession of a loaded firearm.

The incident started when Watertown Police received a report of a dispute at 14 Essex St. at around 9:30 p.m., according to Lt. Michael Lawn. A man in a car had reportedly displayed a gun to two people in front of the house, Lawn said. A woman had been driving the car, Lawn said.
