Police Investigating German Shepherd Bite Incident

Police said the biting incident happened Thursday in the area of Greenwood Street and Hartman Road.

Newton police said they are looking for the owner of a black German Shepherd after the dog bit someone Thursday.

Police said the biting incident happened between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. in the area of Greenwood Street and Hartman Road.

"The dog and owner are believed to live in the area and is described as a black German Shepherd that has a 'wolf like' description to it," police said in a statement.

Anyone with information is asked to call the animal control unit at 617-796-2109.
