April 2 – At 5:02 p.m., a Woburn woman reported she went to King Gas on Main Street and asked for $30 in gasoline. After paying for the gas and returning home, the woman told police she realized her gas gauge had not moved. The woman returned to King Gas, according to police, and confronted the attendant, who said that she would have to speak to the manager. Police reported this is one of several complaints against the gas station.
April 2 –
At 9:17 a.m., a Woburn woman reported she was stopped at a red traffic light on Salem Street, when another car struck hers from behind. The woman told police she put her car in park and was ready to exchange information, when the other driver “started yelling at her and flipped her ‘the bird.’” The other car drove away on Washington Street, said police.
At 12:06 p.m., a Kimball Court man reported his car broken into and several items stolen. According to police, the man’s backpack, a bank checkbook, two iPhones, and a GPS were stolen.
At 5:24 p.m., a Main Street woman picked up her lost wallet at the police station. According to police, the wallet was found at the Hammond Square post office box. The woman checked the contents and said that only some change and a check appeared to be missing.
At 5:33 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the Best Western Hotel and Montvale Avenue. According to police, a witness reported seeing one car cross the double-yellow line in an attempt to pass a car that was letting another car turn onto the road.
