Police Make Arrests for OUI, A&B

A Newton woman who hit a center island and guardrail is charged with OUI.

On Friday, May 16, police responded to a report of a vehicle crash with no injuries on Washington Street. When officers arrived, they spotted a black Nissan Maxima headed west on Washington. The car struck the curb of the center island, and then the guardrail. Having slurred speech, unsteady feet and red and glassy eyes, Sarah Anne Wolfe, 21, 438 Waverly Ave., Newton, was arrested and charged with OUI and marked lanes violation. 

On Thursday, May 15, police responded to a domestic situation. Kevin John Yerardi, 40, 52 Henshaw St., Newton, was arrested and charged with domestic A&B.
