Police: Man with Turtle Approaches Newton Girls, Makes Bizarre Comments
Police described the man as 5 feet, 10 inches, with gray hair, blue jeans, and a gray sweatshirt.
Newton police issued an alert Tuesday after they said a man with a turtle approached two girls and made bizarre comments.
Police described the man as 5 feet, 10 inches, with gray hair, blue jeans, and a gray sweatshirt.
"He stated he worked at a local elementary school and showed the children a turtle," police said in a statement. "He then asked them where he could put the turtle. After a short walk the children left."
Police said they checked the school and found the man does not work there.
Anyone with information on the man is asked to call police at 617-796-2100.
