Strange Accident Ties Up Traffic on Rte. 128 in Newton
Traffic is expected to be delayed all Friday morning.
Massachusetts State Police responded to an accident that backed up traffic on Rte. 128 Friday morning after a passenger opened a door and fell out.
The incident occurred near the Rte. 16 exit on Rte. 128 northbound around 8 a.m. Friday.
The passenger suffered injuries, but they were not life threatening, according to the State Police.
As a result of the accident, however, the left and center lanes were closed, and State Police said to expect delays the rest of the morning.
