The man allegedly held up the CVS in Newton Centre with a knife.

The man suspected of robbing the CVS in Newton Centre with a knife on Thursday was arrested in Quincy Friday afternoon.

Newton Police will charge Darius Moshfegh, 26, of 877 Commonwealth Ave. in Newton, with armed robbery for the incident at CVS, said Newton Police Lt. Bruce Apotheker.

Moshfegh was arrested in Quincy after a warrant was taken out in his name on Thursday.

Moshfegh allegedly came into the back door of CVS at 1199 Centre St. Thursday at around 5 p.m. and pulled out a folding knife with a 3-4 inch blade. He spoke to the cashier, took the money and ran out the back door.

A witness saw a gray car driving down Pleasant Street the wrong way and hit a car.
