Newton First Responders Help Woman Deliver Baby

With all the snow we’ve been having, Newton first responders have been busy helping residents with several serious incidents.

During last Thursday’s storm, Wellesley Police and Newton Fire helped a woman deliver her baby in a restaurant parking lot.

While Wellesley firefighters were tending to a man with a heart attack in one part of town, according to a report on Boston.com, Wellesley Police directed a couple stuck in traffic to the Papa Razzi parking lot on Washington Street. Newton Fire responded to the scene and helped the woman deliver a healthy baby boy in the back of the ambulance.
