Newton's Mayoral Candidates Face Off This Week

NewTV will broadcast a debate between the four candidates for Newton Mayor.

Newton's preliminary election is just over a week away and you can find out more about what they stand for during a televised debate on Thursday, Sept. 12.

NewTV will show the debate at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12 featuring 
the four mayoral candidates - Alderman Ted Hess-Mahan, Tom Sheff, Jackie Gauvreau Sequeira and Mayor Setti Warren.

The debate will air on NewTV's Government Channel (Comcast 9, RCN 13, Verizon 33) and stream online on NewTV's website: newtv.org/decision2013.

You can participate in the forum, too by asking candidates questions. Viewers are encouraged to post their questions for the candidates toinfo@lwvnewton.org, or the evening of the event on our Facebook page (Facebook.com/NewTV) and Twitter: @New_TV.

The preliminary election will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, and the general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
