Report: Newton Mayor Setti Warren Running for Re-Election

A campaign kickoff event will be held Sept. 24.

Newton Mayor Setti Warren is reportedly running for re-election. 

According to a post on the local Village 14 blog, Warren sent out an electronic invitation yesterday for a re-election campaign kickoff on Sept. 24. 

The celebration is reportedly being held at the home of Rick and Jan Lipof.

Warren was first elected mayor in 2009. As of today, there are not any official challengers to Warren's re-election bid.
