Newton Schools Will Soon Offer Flu Clinics

A flu clinic will be held at each school, find out when and how to sign up.

In an effort to keep students and staff healthy this year, the Newton Public Schools will be offering school-based flu clinics for students.

The clinics begin on Oct. 1 and will be offered in each school through from early October mid-November. Dates vary by school, see a schedule click here.

Both the nasal spray and injection form of the vaccine will be available, according to a NPS announcement.

Parents who want to have their child vaccinated at a school-based flu clinics must fill out the required student consent and insurance forms. These two forms must be returned to the school nurse at least two days before the scheduled flu clinic.
