State, Local Officials Investigate Suspicous Package at Zervas School
State Police bomb squad is en route.
State and local police were at the Zervas School on Beethoven Avenue in Newton investigating a suspicious package, after receiving a call at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Reports say the package was found at the front door to the school.
While officials were on scene, Beethoven Avenue was closed from Beacon Street to Woodward.
At 10:30 a.m. the Newton Fire Department announced the scene was clear and the incident is under investigation.
