The graduates of Newton South High School and their families packed the school's field house Thursday evening for the Class of 2013's graduation ceremony.

Before hundreds of guests and several Newton officials, including Mayor Setti Warren, several members of the Board of Aldermen and School Commiittee, and Superintendent David Fleishman, the 400-plus graduates of accepted their diplomas.
