Gracie Gold, who was born in Newton, will represent the United States as a member of the U.S. Olympic Women's Figure Skating Team at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
This is Gold's first trip to the Olympics. She has been getting plenty of media attention since entering the Olympic-arena. A USA Today article on Gold, 18, Wednesday was headlined: "Gracie Gold poised to grab throne as USA ice princess."
