The strong No. 3 girls basketball team slid into a South Div. 1 quarterfinal spot tonight with a win against No. 19 Brockton.
The Lady Lions took down Brockton tonight at home, 67-53.
Newton South, now 20-1 on the season, will face the winner of the Quincy and Taunton game held tonight in Quincy.
