Newton's Greg Picklesimer Finishes Boston Marathon, Proposes
Picklesimer finished the race in 2 hours, 42 minutes then proposed to girlfriend Carla White.
Apparently finishing the Boston Marathon wasn't enough to do in one day for Newton's Greg Picklesimer.
After crossing the finish line in 2 hours, 42 minutes, Picklesimer found his girlfriend, Carla White. He whipped out a ring from his back pocket, dropped to a knee, and popped the question.
She said yes.
"After last year I realized the people you love and your life can be taken so quickly," Picklesimer told CBS Boston.
"This is the happiest day of my life," White said.
There were at least two other proposals at the marathon, according to CBS and WSBTV.com. The two women also said yes.
