Matt Mackenzie's 6-yard touchdown run wrapped up the scoring for Newton North in the 41-12 loss.
Lincoln-Sudbury led 13-0 at halftime and scored another 12 in the third quarter before Newton South got on the scoreboard. Ethan Myer scored on a 33-yard run on the Lion's only score in the 32-7 loss, according to the Boston Globe report.
Next week, Newton South travels to Acton-Boxborough for a 7 p.m game on Friday, while Newton North hosts Braintree on Saturday at 3 p.m.
