The MIAA released the football brackets and Newton has a team in the playoffs.
The MIAA State Football brackets are out and the Newton North Tigers made the list.
Newton North will travel travel to play Bridgewater-Raynham this week in the first round of the Div. 1 South football tournament.
This year the MIAA expanded the playoffs and the Tigers earned the sixth seed in the eight-team section with their 4-3 record.
