What You Need to Know About This Year’s Thanksgiving Football Games
Find out about the gridiron clashes for Newton South and Newton North.
The annual Thanksgiving Day football games are almost here!
On Thursday, Nov. 28, Newton South will be hosting Lincoln-Sudbury, while Newton North hits the road to take on Brookline. Both games begin at 10 a.m.
South enters the game with a 3-7 record. Lincoln-Sudbury has a 6-4 record, and will be a tough foe. L-S made it to the state playoffs section final, where they lost to Waltham.
North made the state playoffs, but lost to Bridgewater-Raynham. The Tigers come into the Thanksgiving Day clash with a 4-6 record. Brookline meanwhile is winless, at 0-10.
The game is at Parsons Field, on Kent Street off Aspinwall Avenue in Brookline.
