When Are the Newton SouthEast Little League Games?

The Little Leaguers are hoping to win the New England title and head to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

The Newton SouthEast Little League All-Stars have proven that they are the best in Massachusetts. Now, they will take on the other New England state champions in hopes of representing the region in the Little League World Series. 

Newton will take on Saco, ME, Lincoln, RI, Westport, CT, and South Burlington, VT, in the New England Region Tournament in Bristol, CT. The winner will play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

At least two of Newton SouthEast’s games will be televised.

Here is Newton SouthEast’s schedule:

  • Saturday, Aug. 3 – Versus Saco, ME, at 11 a.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 4 – Versus Lincoln, RI, at 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 6 – Versus Rye, NH, at 4 p.m. (the game will be shown live on NESN)
  • Wednesday, Aug. 7 – Versus Westport, CT, at 4 p.m. (the game will be shown live on NESN)

The top four teams from the round-robin portion of the tournament will play in the semifinals on Thursday, Aug. 8. Those games will be shown at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on NESN.

The championship game will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. That game will be live on ESPN.
