Here are a few things going on this week in Newton.

Beer Brewing Class

Learn how to brew your own beer at the Newton Community Farm. The two-session course will include hands-on instruction from our seasoned home brewer. The first class is Monday at 7 p.m. Find out more here.

Local Authors Speak at the JCC

Two local authors, B.A. Shapiro and Maryanne O’Hara, will discuss their recent fiction at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. See details here.

NewTV Workshop: The Art of the Interview

The Art of the Interview is an introductory course for the documentary filmmaker that will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. This course includes choosing your subjects, tips on creative questions, discovering interview styles, lighting and audio techniques, location selection and a psychological understanding of the interview process.
