Celebrate Two Village Days in Newton This Weekend

Newtonville and Newton Upper Falls will hold their annual celebrations on Sunday.

Two villages will come together for celebrations this weekend as Newtonville and Newton Upper Falls hold their village days.

In Newtonville, the fun begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday at Bullough's Pond with music, games races and more.

From noon to 5 p.m., the party shifts to Newtonville Center, featuring two stages of music and entertainment. There will be booths, food and activities, and Newtonville residents can vote for the first Neighborhood Area council.

Newton Upper Falls Day will be at Emerson Field from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be music, games, prizes to win and other fun activities. Candidates for various city offices will also be in attendance. You can also bring non-perishable items to donate to the Newton Food Pantry.
