Comedy Caberet, Newton Students in Tosca, Cat Adoption Event

Annual Comedy Cabaret 

On Satuday at 8 p.m., the Leventhal-Sidman JCC, 333 Nahanton St. in Newton, hosts the Comedy Caberet with Modi, Alex Edelman and Eric Neumann. Modi was voted one of the “Top 10 Comedians” in New York City by the Hollywood Reporter and BackStage. The Cat Connection Adoption Meet & Greet

Especially for Pets is hosting The Cat Connection Adoption Meet & Greet on Saturday at 11 a.m. at 1185 Chestnut St. in Newton. Looking to adopt a feline friend...drop by and meet Patricia a beautiful momma cat who is looking for her forever family!  She will have a friend or two with her also. Newton Students Perform Tosca with BYSO

Fourteen students from Newton will be performing with Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras’ to present a semi-staged opera – Puccini’s TOSCA!  This is unique accomplishment from these talented young musicians and the performance will take place on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Sanders Theatre at Harvard University. Classical Concert at Newton Free Library

Mickey Katz will play Cello with Constantine Finehouse on piano on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Newton Free Library. The program includes: Debussy - Sonata for Cello and Piano; Beethoven - Sonata in C, op. 102 no.1; Brahms - Sonata in F, op.99.
