Get Help Installing Your Car Seat from the Newton Police

Have your child's car seat installed or inspected on Sunday at the Newton Camp Fair.

Installing a car seat can be complicated and confusing, but the Newton Police will lend a hand on Sunday.

The police will have a table at the Newton Camp Fair, on Sunday, Jan. 26 from noon to 4 p.m. at Newton North High School.

"People can stop by the table in the cafeteria, and we can go out and install or inspect their carseat," said Newton Police officer Dan Devine.

The police will cone off a couple of spots near the cafeteria where people can pull up and have the inspections, Devine said.

"People can be overwhelmed when have a new child," Devine said. "We can help them and answer their questions."

The Camp Fair is organized by the Newton Parks and Recreation Department where residents can find out about camps in town and register.
