Newton Hosts a Celebration of Indian Culture

Try food, enjoy performances and take in many aspects of Indian Culture on Saturday.

Head to Newton City Hall to experience and enjoy the rich flavors, music, dance, crafts, theatre and games of Indian culture.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, Indian-themed arts and crafts will be available for kids, and board games to try out. 

The entertainment schedule from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. features classical and folk music and dances performed by reputed local Indian music and dance schools. 

The festival ends with everyone invited to participate in lively Bollywood Zumba, led by Newton's own Param Roychondhury.

Admission is free, but bring a non-perishable food item for the Newton Food pantries.
