This small park by the lake was created as a memorial to veterans, with US and MIA flags anchored to a a plaque with names of the deceased written on it. The park is on the #59 bus route and has plenty of shade and benches to relax on. Pets are allowed, but must be leashed, and owners must pick up after them. For free parking, use the municipal lot behind Silver Lake Liquors.
