The name of this store is actually an acronym for Donna's Infinite Variety of Adornments, and easily the best adornment of this shop is owner Donna Soodalter. Energetic, creative and dedicated to making sure all of her customers find that perfect piece, Ms. Soodalter says she literally gets goosebumps when a client discovers that just-right piece of jewelry. The store is filled with well-displayed original pieces of jewelry and clothing, and stock is rotated on a regular basis. It is accessible via the Newtonville stop on the MBTA Commuter Rail.

Really you give yourself 5 stars?? Looking at the reviews below you will find that the people who posted have two things in common. A) the posters only have one review and B) the posters are friends/work associates. (I goggled their names) Donna is NOT a nice person who has anger issues as demonstrated when my Girl Friend who didn't understand what Donna said and asked to please repeat it, Donna went nuts on her and almost yelled at her asking my GF if she was mentally challenged because she(Donna) explained it correctly the first time!! WOW!!!! There is something wrong with Donna and I would highly suggest going some place else to buy her VERY common goods as it seems there are numerous stores that carry this same stuff.

The owner Donna is NOT very nice or patient! My girlfriend and I went to diva so she could pick out something nice as a gift from me to celebrate her promotion at work.
Donna was VERY IMPATIENT with my girlfriend regarding questions about the jewelry she was looking at and Donna rolled her eyes several times when my girlfriend asked for further information and outwardly showed impatiens's with her. I was willing to spend at least a $1000 there until the owner was SO RUDE! We left and went around to numerous other store where we were treated in pleasant manner VS the rudeness of this owner.
Diva? Oh yea she acted in all the worst ways a diva could!
All the reviews below are one review people which leads me too believe they are friends doing her a favor by posting, yes this is my first one. Also, but why is the owner rating herself in such a spamming manner?
There are many other places that the owner doesn't have such a volatile personality, skip this place you are only dealing with trouble if you do!

Today was my first visit to the store, I was very impressed !! The greeting was so inviting !!! Donna is a very nice LADY. Can't wait to wear my earrings and braclet that she helped me to purchase.

Finally a jewelry store where there is an infinite variety of styles and prices, from antique to new. I felt like a kid in grandma's attic only about a million times better. Donna and her staff are super helpful (and not pushy) and can help you find that special something that you've been looking for all these years. The store is a total delight for the senses. And it's local!
