Locals who want to mail a package early in the morning, late at night or on the weekends can make a trip to the Newton Center Post Office, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Although the window service is only available during business hours, the 24-hour automated postal center allows people to purchase stamps, mail letters and ship packages from a self-service kiosk.

Located in busy downtown Newton Centre, this post office has three mailboxes available outside as well as a FedEx box. Pick-up times for the mailboxes are at 12pm and 5pm, Mon - Fri; the FedEx pick-up time is 6:15pm, Mon - Fri.

The Newton Center Post Office is easily accessible from the Newton Center MBTA stop (Green Line, D Branch), which is less than a half mile away. The MBTA bus #52 also stops nearby at the corner of Centre and Beacon streets.
