Newton's smallest public elementary school, the John Ward School sits tucked away in a quiet Newton Centre neighborhood. Lead by Principal Audrey Peller, the staff strive to prepare students for the 21st century through a challenging curriculum. The historic elementary school was established in 1928 and named for John Ward, one of the first settlers of Newton.
