Boston College Men's Hockey Wins Fourth Straight Beanpot Title
BC beat Northeastern Monday night in the annual matchup between Boston colleges.
The Boston College men's hockey team took home its fourth consecutive Beanpot title last night, beating Northeastern University 6-3. BC's Johnny Gaudreau netted two goals and goalie Parker Milner made 24 saves during the match, according to an Associated Press report on CBS Boston. Northeastern's Chris Rawlings stopped 24 shots and Kevin Roy scored twice. Roy was also named the tournament's most outsanding player, the AP reported. The annual Beanpot tournament features games between BC, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern. The first set of games were played last week, with BC beating Harvard 4-1 and Northeastern beating BU 3-2. Harvard beat BU 7-4 in the consolation game played Monday.
