Family Fun at Newton "Chanukah Lights" Program this Weekend
There will be menorah-making and music at the Chanukah Lights event at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC.
Get the kids geared up for Hanukkah (also, of course, spelled Chanukah) this weekend at Chanukah Lights, a fun, family program with crafts and an interactive musical performance. Taking place on Sunday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center, this family event is open to the entire community, not only members of the JCC, says Family Program Coordinator Suzanne Robbins. “We want this to be a festive, holiday event for anyone who wants to come,” says Robbins. Kid-friendly activities will include making dreidels and chanukiah, or menorahs.
