Woman Who Tried to Rob Newton Gas Station Faces New Charges
The Wellesley Police Department is charging Chelsea Ingalls with armed robbery.
A woman who police say attempted to rob a Newtonville gas station Monday now faces charges for a similar incident in Wellesley. According to a post on the Wellesley Police Department website, Wellesley Police charged Chelsea Ingalls, 27, of Framingham, with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife). Wellesley Police allege that Ingalls robbed the Westside Mobile on Dec. 25 by threatening the cashier with a knife. Ingalls was arrested Monday in Framingham on charges stemming from an attempted armed robbery of a CVS store in Framingham on Dec. 25 as well as the Dec. 26 Newtonville incident. Ingalls appeared in Framingham District Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to those charges. She was held on $5,000 …
