Woman Who Tried to Rob Newton Gas Station Faces New Charges

The Wellesley Police Department is charging Chelsea Ingalls with armed robbery.

A woman who police say attempted to rob a Newtonville gas station Monday now faces charges for a similar incident in Wellesley.  According to a post on the Wellesley Police Department website, Wellesley Police charged Chelsea Ingalls, 27, of Framingham, with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).  Wellesley Police allege that Ingalls robbed the Westside Mobile on Dec. 25 by threatening the cashier with a knife.   Ingalls was arrested Monday in Framingham on charges stemming from an attempted armed robbery of a CVS store in Framingham on Dec. 25 as well as the Dec. 26 Newtonville incident.  Ingalls appeared in Framingham District Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to those charges. Woman Charged with Attempting to Rob Newton Gas Station Held on $5,000 Bail

Boston.com is reporting that Chelsea Ingalls pled not guilty today in Framingham District Court.

A woman who is charged with attempting to rob a Newtonville gas station at knifepoint Monday afternoon was held on $5,000 cash bail during her arraignment today in Framingham District Court.  According to a report on Boston.com, Chelsea Ingalls, 27, of Framingham, pleaded not guilty to a number of charges tied to the Newton attempted robbery as well as a robberies in Framingham and Wellesley.  In a press release issued yesterday, Newton Police explained that Ingalls was arrested in Framingham after a woman matching her description was reported to have tried to rob the Newtonville Sunoco with a knife.
