Woman Who Tried to Rob Newton Gas Station Faces New Charges
The Wellesley Police Department is charging Chelsea Ingalls with armed robbery.
A woman who police say attempted to rob a Newtonville gas station Monday now faces charges for a similar incident in Wellesley. According to a post on the Wellesley Police Department website, Wellesley Police charged Chelsea Ingalls, 27, of Framingham, with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife). Wellesley Police allege that Ingalls robbed the Westside Mobile on Dec. 25 by threatening the cashier with a knife. Ingalls was arrested Monday in Framingham on charges stemming from an attempted armed robbery of a CVS store in Framingham on Dec. 25 as well as the Dec. 26 Newtonville incident.
