Newton's New Cinema Complex Will Include a Davio's Restaurant

A well-known, upscale Italian steakhouse is planning to partner with a new movie theatre at the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center to bring diners a different option for date night. The owners of Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse are partnering with National Amusements to open a 250-seat restaurant in the new cinema complex at the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center, according to a report in the Boston Herald. The new restaurant, which will be known as Davio's Cucina, will include a lower-priced menu of pastas and pizzas as well as a full bar, the Herald reported.
