Pre-Kindergarteners from Lasell College's Holway Child Study Center - Rockwell delivered valentines to seniors at Lasell Village on Thurs., Feb. 14, 2013. The pre-k students also performed a few Valentine's Day songs for the Lasell Village residents.

The year 1911 brought a few big names into the world: Jean Harlow, Lucille Ball, Tennessee Williams and Newton resident Erna Rosenberg. And while Rosenberg may not be an international star or famous actress, she's a pretty big name around Lasell Village. Rosenburg celebrated her 100th birthday on Tuesday, the first 100th birthday celebrated by a resident at the Lasell Village in Auburndale. “The vitality and spirit of the Lasell community, residents and staff, have provided our mother with the will and the way to reach this day,” Erna's son John Rosenberg said.
