Have you seen the buttons for First Night Boston 2013? If you have, you've seen the artwork of Newton artist Maria Termini. First Night Boston recently announced that Termini's artwork will be used as the design for this year's First Night Boston event, according to a press release issued by First Night Boston. Termini's artwork encompasses a number of mediums including watercolor, collage, silkscreen, drawing with colored pencils and fabric appliqué. According to her website, her artwork consists of "colorful and earthy artworks that witness wonder and reflect reverence for the beauty of nature."
